JCI Alabang Hosts the JCI World President in the Legacy 101 Forum: My Positive Change with JCI World President Ismail Haznedar
JCI Alabang is honored to organize and host the JCI World President Ismail Haznedar in his final day in the Philippines last November 20, 2015 in Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.
Mr. Ismail Haznedar was in the country from Nov 18-20 to participate in the JCI Philippines community development activities and meet the local members. His visit was culminated with a business forum on
Friday.
The forum was attended by 95 JCI members from all over the country.
The event emcees were JCI Makati’s Ernest Hernandez and JCI Ortigas’s Daniel Lee. The event was started with JCI Alabang’s 2016 EVP George Flordeliza who lead the audience in reciting the JCI Values, Prayer and Mission. Metro Area AVP and National President-Elect Steve Tycangco delivered the opening remarks. JCI Philippines National
President and 2016 JCI World Vice President for Asia and Pacific Marc Brian Lim delivered JCI Philippines’s message.
Mr Ismail shared with the group his slogan “Commit-Connect-Share” and how he embodied this in his JCI term as World President. He also shared how he overcame his fears for a purpose.
After his talk, the audience were given the chance to ask their questions. The open forum was moderated by JCI Manilena’s Chenny Galano.
A plaque of appreciation was given by the event hosts and co-presenters– a Plaque of Appreciation and a Barong Tagalog from Bergamo. The Barong Tagalog is the National Dress of the Philippines. The barong is usually given to heads of state during international conferences hosted in the Philippines. Mr Ismail was given a Barong Tagalog as the holder of the highest position in the international organization.
JCI Alabang President (2015) Aimee Flordeliza closed the session thanking everyone who helped make the forum possible.
