Stairway to haven MOA Signing (March 15,2014)

Stairway to HavenLast March 15, 2014 was the Official Launch of “Stairway to Haven,” the first socio-civic program of JCI-Alabang (2014). Stairway to Haven is an umbrella program that will tackle academic education, vocational learning, sports & recreation and other special projects for the 126+ kids of Haven for Children in the next 2 years.

The event started with introduction and background of JCI-Alabang by Pres. Vicky Martinez, information about the Stairway to Haven program by VP for Community Development Lester Baes, Lego Charity Box turnover ceremonies donated by Felta Group and MOA signing between JCI-Alabang and Asst. Dir Delia and head for Haven Mr. Joel Pangilinan.

JCI Alabang members were also toured inside the compound and interacted with the different kids in Haven for Children. Snacks were served followed with some some performances by the Haven kids. A few gifts were given by JCI Alabang for the kids. JCI Alabang wishes to thank our Sponsors: Felta Group for the Lego Charity box donation,

Shapell Homes and City of Muntinlupa for the contribution for the food for the 126 kids, and Brgy Ayala Alabang for the tables and chairs used in the event. Congratulations again to VP Lester Baes for spearheading this activity and his co-chair: Francis Villanueva.

The Haven For Children is a residential institution that provides rehabilitation facilities for boys aged 7-13 who are recovering from substance abuse.
