11th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies

MANILA, Philippines — Last Apr 8, 2015, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Alabang celebrated its 11th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies in the Alabang Country Club.

A black tie event, the festivities started with the national anthem lead by the children’s choir from SOS Village Ayala Alabang. Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi and Architect Palafox were the inspirational speakers for the night. 2014 JCI Alabang Victoria Martinez shared her valedictory address while 2015 JCI Alabang President Aimee Flordeliza accepted the role of 2015 President. National President Brian Lim inspired the audience with his speech on active citizenship.  New members of JCI Alabang were also inducted by President Aimee Flordeliza.

The Induction and Charging of officers were led by Metro Area Vice President Steve Tycangco and Metro South Regional Vice President Chai Talag, while the present and past national board members and regional board officers looked on. The turnover of the presidential medal and gavel were done by the past JCI Alabang presidents.

Various video presentations presenting the JCI movement, JCI Alabang and how to join, were presented. Raffle items from various sponsors were given to lucky attendees– including a 3D 2N stay in 357 Resort Boracay, Ovenight stay in Solaire, GCs from Detoxify Bar, items from Spray N’ Go, elite luggage scales from Globe Business, among others.

The Solaire Lady and Gentlemen of the night were JCI Alabang members Rhia Flordeliza and Iman Arguelles, voted to be best dressed through a social media contest. They were given buffet passes for the Solaire’s Fresh Buffet. The speakers were gifted speedometer bracelets from It’s ‘Bout Time.

Aside from raffle opportunities, the guests were given the chance to learn more about the sponsors products in the sponsor booths– a mini-gas station was set-up by Shell, a watch display by It’s Bout Time, a drinking station by Emperador, booths by Ayala Premier, Megaworld, Brittany, and Tagaytay Highlands. Guests also got generous freebies of Ms Zeny from Sunlife.

No less than the leaders of Muntinlupa City (Muntinlupa City Mayor, Hon Jaime Fresnedi, Muntinlupa Councilors Robert Baes, Atty Corro), representatives from St James the Great, St Jerome Parish and distinguished guests from the local community attended this momentous night.

The leaders of Haven for Children and SOS Village, the communities JCI Alabang support, were also in attendance.
