World Book Day
23 April is often stated as the anniversary of the deaths of both William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes. On this day, countries around the world promote reading, publishing, and copyright.
Feast of St George (Fest de Sant Jordi)
This is one of the eagerly awaited and celebrated holidays in Catalonia, Spain. Similar to Valentine’s day, sweethearts exchange gifts. The ladies get roses while the men get books.
