JCI Alabang and JCI Lipa collaborated again for a successful Gumball Rally 2017 held last July 23, 2017. The Gumball Rally is an annual fundraising event for the benefit of the Cancer Warriors Foundation of Lipa, Batangas. Cancer Warriors Foundation is a Philippine based patient support organization for families of children with childhood cancer. It leads the fight for children/adolescents with cancer, childhood cancer survivors and their families.
This event aims to gather members and non-members of JCI who are car enthusiasts who want also to donate and drive for a cause.
The participants drove to Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa, Batangas where everyone was treated to a sumptuous lunch and a breathtaking view of the countryside.
Pres. George Flordeliza of JCI Alabang and Pres. Karl Toledo of JCI Lipa spearheaded the fundraising event, together with the Project Chairmen Arfie Sta Maria, Jed Manguera and Miguel Mendoza. Special thank you to Ms. Dita of Cancer Warriors Foundation, Lipa.
