Avante Training during the 35th Metro Area Conference

JCI Alabang attended the Avante training hosted by JCI Cainta and JCI Baras during the 35th Metro Area Conference in Timberland, San Mateo Rizal.

Program Description:

“AVANTE, be the change!” signifies our call to act, that for us to advance positively and to create an impact to the society which will realize our purpose as a part of the JCI movement. In Avante, we learn that we should first take ownership of our role to develop ourselves so we can become effective active citizens and be the change that we want to be.

For our Metro Area Conference, we will be offering an AVANTE experience that will surely uplift our members as individuals and as JCI Members as well. For our half day training, we will be offering topics which will focus on the 5 strategies of JCI such as Motivate, Impact, Invest, Collaborate, and Connect. These will be delivered through talks with speakers from Toastmasters International.

Avante Program Objectives:

1. Drive the Active Citizens Framework – changing the mindset to focus on creating sustainable impact to the community and building the skills necessary to carry out that new role for JCI.

2. Provide an alternative learning environment that is geared towards addressing the specific developmental needs of the members in the area, thereby developing them holistically to become more productive active citizens.

3. Make training experiential and fun by employing interactive activities to reinforce the learning process and strengthen brotherhood.
