JCI Alabang gives to Save the Children Philippines for Help Nepal
Manila, Philippines — Last May 7, 2015, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Alabang remitted their donation to Save the Children Philippines. This is just part of the collected donations for JCI Alabang’s Help Nepal Drive.
JCI Alabang President Aimee Flordeliza presented the check to Save the Children Philippines Country Director Ned Olney. Mr Olney said, “Thank you to JCI Alabang for heeding the call of Save the Children. This will go a long way in supporting Save the Children’s efforts in Nepal. The day after the earthquake, one of the directors here in the Philippines flew to Kathmandu to head the earthquake response. We received the approval to send the first batch of life-saving non-food items to Kathmandu. There is still a lot of work to be done there.”
