Rugby Football Clinic with the Philippine Volcanoes
The Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU) and JCI Alabang held a Rugby Football Clinic in Haven for Children last Aug 9, 2014.
The coaches from the PRFU, Philippine Volcanoes (Philippine Rugby Team) and the Lady Volcanoes taught the kids basics drills. Ada Milby and the rest of her team were awesome on how they taught rigorously and patiently the children. The children happily obliged. In fact, they were so happy that they were asking afterwards when the next training would be.
And happily, this program will continue. More smiles and happiness will follow; and the opportunities to become more meaningful individuals abound.
Indeed, the service to humanity — for this day, the children in Haven — is the greatest work of life.
Thank you to PRFU for the successful introduction of rugby football to the kids of Haven!
Congratulations to the project chair, JCI Alabang member,Angel Aguinaldo, and the team (VP for Community Development Lester Baes, Treasurer Aimee Flordeliza, VP for Business Juan Miguel Mendoza, members George Flordeliza,Margaret Siason, Paolo Dolina, and Henry Atilano) for the successful event! The Rugby Football Clinic is under the Stairway to Haven Program.
